St. Vincent de Paul

End Poverty Through Systemic Change

Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of st. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.

The Society collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need and addressing its causes, making no distinction in those served because, in them, Vincentians see the face of Christ.

The St. Mary Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul currently has about a dozen active members. Please contact us if you would like to know more or become a member of our conference of the SVdP.

SVDP CORNER

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a community of dedicated volunteers who serve others through faith, compassion, and action. Guided by the Holy Spirit and inspired by Jesus Christ, our mission is to assist neighbors in need while offering hope, encouragement, and support during difficult times.

If you need assistance, please contact our office at this number: (512) 847-5251. We will then set up a time for you to meet with two of our volunteers to learn more about your needs and how we can assist you. We help people with doctor bills, rental assistance, groceries, gas, and various other financial needs.

Although we are always having new members join us in our mission, we are currently looking for a volunteer to assist our treasurer with financial records and reporting. If you are interested in becoming a member of St. Vincent de Paul, please contact us at (512) 847-5251 so you can meet us to see what we are all about!
